The JRD has been recognized as an A-Ventures by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA), the government department responsible for Korea's food and agriculture sector.
A-Ventures is a national program through which the ministry selects the agrifood companies it considers most capable of leading the industry, then endorses them under the government's name. The name blends "Agri" and "Avengers." The program is run with the Korea Agriculture Technology Promotion Agency (KOAT), the public institution under the ministry tasked with advancing the country's agriculture and agrifood technology.
The JRD supports Korean food companies entering markets including North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This work covers food regulation across the US (FDA), EU, Canada (CFIA), and the GCC including HALAL. Its Foodplanet platform analyzes each country's regulations and labeling standards and generates labels that meet the destination market's requirements. The JRD operates as an end-to-end, one-stop K-food supply chain solution, from sourcing through manufacturing, regulation, and logistics.
